Reservations Manager (6 months maternity leave relief)Sunlover Reef Cruisestravels daily from Cairns, via Fitzroy Island to Moore Reef on the beautiful Great Barrier Reef.We introduce thousands of visitors to the magic of the Great Barrier Reef offering a complete reef tourism experience, with an award-winning team providing glass bottom and semi-submersible boat tours, guided snorkelling interpretive tours, introductory and certified diving, seawalker helmet diving, and helicopter reef scenic flights.We love the reef and love showing it off.Your Key Responsibilities will be:Supervising, motivating, rostering, and training staffManaging and supporting the reservations teamWorking closely with Operations on the day-to-day running of the cruisesCollaborating with Accounts for approval of invoices, daily banking issues, and other requirementsWorking closely with Sales to ensure the reservations team is briefed on all current and upcoming promotions/campaignsReporting to the Chief Operating Officer on all aspects of reservations and revenue across all distribution channelsHandling the resolution of all customer complaints together with other relevant departments and the COOManaging all Groups Reservations together with the Reservations Duty ManagersDo you have a solid and demonstrated knowledge of Reservations Systems and Processes, including:Day-to-day reservations knowledgeLoading of rates, new agents, and new productsWeekly and ad-hoc reporting for Sales & Marketing and OperationsMonthly and ad-hoc reporting for the Chief Operating OfficerInvoicing for accountsKey Criteria:Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role in the Tourism industryExperience using the 'Respax' booking system highly advantageousSolid knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAn ability to prioritise, delegate, and manage role expectationsAbility to use own initiative and react quickly to shifting prioritiesStrong attention to detailAbility to develop and maintain relationships with external travel agents and suppliersExcellent oral and written communication skillsBased in the Reef Fleet Terminal, you will be in the heart of the Cairns reef industry, working with a strong, supportive team of people.Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered for this position.Please apply online.Only successful applicants will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
