Full time, continuing role for experienced Executive Assistant to join the University of Sydney Base salary from $108,557 plus 17% Superannuation About the opportunity The Executive Assistant provides the full suite of professional executive support services to the Chief University Infrastructure Officer (CUIO) and Director, Engagement, in a timely and effective manner, ensuring their specific needs and day to day requirements are managed in a highly efficient and effective manner.As the first point of contact representing the CUIO and Director, Engagement, the role is required to exercise a great deal of tact and understanding, ensure confidentiality while maintaining a client focused approach to ensure that matters are managed effectively.This position requires excellent organisational skills, consummate knowledge and experience of senior executive support, business acumen and client service skills, thereby ensuring that the office of the CUIO is managed in a highly professional manner, and that the needs of key stakeholders across the University are met.Your key responsibilities will be to: act as the first point of contact for the Chief University Infrastructure Officer and Director, Engagement, maintaining effective channels of communication, interpreting requests and correspondence to prioritise provide broad, high level professional executive support to the CUIO and Director, Engagement and effectively manages their general day to day administration activity undertake diary, email and document management, including the monitoring and prioritising of emails and assisting with the preparation of responses develops and manages relationships with senior executives, senior managers and staff across the University; develops an understanding of the key priorities of the CUIO and Director, Engagement, escalating issues of concern and importance where required provides administrative support for any departmental recruitment activity including compliance with the University's job design and recruitment policies and processes develops and maintains effective administrative systems and practices, including for general office support, document and records management, ensuring that all practices are compliant with the University's policies and procedures.The University values courage and creativity;
