About the Opportunity
Southern Cross University’s Student Administration Services are seeking multiple Student Administration Officers to join our Admissions team, delivering an efficient customer-centric experience across the admission process with a focus on supporting domestic and international University students. Your core responsibilities will include:
* Process and assess international and domestic student applications, while liaising with the student recruitment team.
* Provide advice and support to students with a focus on efficiency and accuracy of information provided.
* Undertake general administrative duties including the preparation of student correspondence.
* Work productively in a team environment and share knowledge to support the resolution of student enquiries.
About You
You will work in a high volume and highly regulated environment where accuracy is essential to deliver excellent client service. The successful candidates will possess a keen eye for detail; enjoy process-driven activities; be motivated and willing to work independently and as part of a large team to reach individual and team-driven KPI’s.
More specifically, you will have:
* A relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience in a student administration environment or an equivalent combination of education, training, or relevant work experience.
* Strong time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise initiative.
* An ability to interpret and apply policy, procedures, and guidelines.
Previous University student admissions experience will be highly regarded.
Salary and Benefits

* Multiple full-time continuing (permanent) and fixed-term opportunities are available.
* Located at either Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450, Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480.
* HEW Level 4. The base salary ranges from $72,947 - $78,337 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $91,654.
