About the role
We are seeking a values-driven Truck Offsider who will provide an effective pick-up, delivery service, and preparation of stock whilst fostering and maintaining a high level of customer service. The purpose is to enhance services and support the achievement of TSA mission.
You will successfully
* Assist the Truck Driver with pick-up and delivery of all donated goods, in accordance with the schedule, and ensuring adherence to WHS manual handling procedures
* Donors and customers are greeted and thanked for their donations and assisted with donations.
* Donated items are offloaded at designated location or site, notifying relevant team member/s and/or customers, and ensuring items are safety stored for sorting, testing, pricing as needed
* Assist with relief truck driving as needed, operating the vehicle in a safe and effective manner, in line with TSA policy and procedures
* As needed or required, administration activities are undertaken as per policies and procedures
You will have
* Understanding of the value of second-hand goods with a wide knowledge on brands and goods.
* Demonstrated experience in warehouse role or similar
* Experience in retail and/or customer service environment is preferred
* Current QLD Driver’s licence
* Must be physically fit, this role involves standing for extending periods of time and push, pull and carry.
This is a permanent, part-time (22.5hrs per week) position located in Maroochydore, QLD. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Award Level 1.
