About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Psychologist within the Child Protection Service
The successful applicant will:
Provide a range of comprehensive specialist forensic and clinical/psychosocial assessment and therapy services for children and families referred to Child Protection Services.Provide a tertiary clinical assessment service to infants, children, adolescents and their family where child abuse and neglect is identified by the Department for Child Protection and/or South Australian Police.Apply clinical experience, clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive and integrated services to the needs of clients of CPS NALHN.
As a Psychologist, to be eligible for this position, you must have an appropriate degree (Masters of Clinical, Forensic or Health Psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA and general registration with PsyBA
As a Social Worker, to be eligible for this position, you must have an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
