Opportunity Opportunity exists to join our Process Operations & Asset Management team at our Boddington mine site. Boddington offers the ability to work in the beautiful South West on a Drive in, Drive out (DIDO) roster. Less than 2 hours from Perth and approximately 100kms from the coast there will be plenty of time to enjoy the lifestyle this area has to offer. As the Maintenance Engineer, you'll provide engineering expertise and support to Maintenance, Operations, and Contractors work groups on site. Your focus will be on achieving production targets, reducing costs, defect elimination, and asset integrity. You’ll also manage change processes for continuous improvement and equipment compliance. Key responsibilities include: Support, develop and manage equipment overhauls, maintenance strategies, improvement projects, and minor capital projects scopes. Resolve complex technical and warranty issues to improve plant reliability and maintainability. Solve engineering challenges related to conveyor systems, piping/valve modifications, equipment removal, jigs/frames and various structural elements and more. Prepare detailed engineering work scopes and manage/support the execution of maintenance tasks in high-pressure situations, such as full-plant shutdowns. Ensure accurate, timely reporting of equipment issues using RCA and RCM methods. Manage and maintain engineering documentation for statutory compliance across registered plants, tanks, mechanical installations, and equipment. Develop and maintain site engineering records, technical standards, and mechanical drawings, using the document control and change management system. Manage OEMs and foster partnerships to drive plant performance. Lead safety initiatives, including task procedure promotion, and non-compliance reporting. About You To be successful in this role you will be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience providing technical expertise in mineral processing plant environments. You will bring with you: Strong understanding of reliability and asset management principles and the importance of data driven insights. Solid knowledge of manual and computerised maintenance planning systems. Quick assessment and diagnosis skills, with strong professional judgment and critical thinking Experience with root cause analysis and developing solutions to reduce production losses Proficiency with analytical tools to improve Asset Management performance, reliability and safety, reducing operating costs and maximising return on assets.
