Having recently secured a number of large scale projects in NSW, we are on the lookout for a Project Architect to join our Sydney Studio, focusing on the Residential/Living Sector. Experience & Attributes Experience working on large-scale projects such as mixed-use or residential projects in New South Wales, Australia. Apartment Design Guide (ADG), SEPP regulations and local planning control knowledge. Experience working on large scale residential projects with experience in the delivery of construction certificate documentation under the Design and Building Practitioners Act (DBPA) Formal qualification in Architectural Design or similar. 5 years post graduate experience working in Australia Knowledge of relevant BCA’s and related building standards and specifications Ability to lead and collaborate as part of the project team Proven ability to work autonomously, manage and oversee multiple projects at once Strong negotiation skills and ability to lead client presentations Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Solutions focused approach to design and coordination Efficient management of the day-to-day operations of projects Strong REVIT skills Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Key Responsibilities Leading medium and large-scale projects, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and builders. Working across various project stages, including Concept Design, DA, Tender, and Construction Documentation. Producing detailed work, including plans, drawings, schedules, and specifications, as part of a collaborative team. Effectively communicating design concepts through 2D and 3D drawings for presentations and reports. Execute tasks within project phases, ensuring timely completion within set deadlines. Supervise project team and oversee workflows to meet submission deadlines. Support the project team in coordinating information, developing designs, and preparing client presentations. Assist in preparing proposals and design documentation. Manage, organise, and coordinate complex Revit files. Provide project documentation and visual communication support to Senior Team Members.
