About you:

* Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance related to nursing standards
* Demonstrated experience contributing to quality improvement principles, accreditation, and clinical policy development and implementation
* Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care

* Focus on service improvement and ongoing professional development for delivery of excellent patient care and positive health outcomes
* Excellent collaboration and consultation skills with individuals, groups, significant others and the multidisciplinary health care team

* Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice with the commitment to promote safety, security, and personal integrity in the workplace

* Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
* Immunisation evidence (including COVID-19 vaccination) and serology report to comply with Category A (High Risk) compliance requirements
Who we are:
Situated in the coastal town of Woy Woy on the Central Coast of NSW, conveniently located 45 minutes’ drive from Sydney, Brisbane Waters Private Hospital is a 132-bed hospital. Already the largest private Psychiatric and Drug & Alcohol services on the Central Coast, we have recently expanded having built a brand-new Mental Health ward with an additional 27 beds. Our patient cohort is split into general Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol. The new ward boasts modern and spacious facilities, plenty of natural light throughout, 6 group therapy rooms and plenty more! We provide a holistic approach with treatment provided in a safe, supportive environment for Inpatients, Day Patients, and Outpatients.
Supported by a team of dedicated professionals, Brisbane Waters Private also provides patient-centred care in general Mental Health, Medical/Surgical, Rehabilitation, Day Surgery and have medical imaging and pathology services on site to service the community of the NSW Central Coast.
