The role of Lead Planner will see you working as part of the Pre-Contracts team on a Permanent full time basis, based here in our Perth Office in Victoria Park. You will be responsible for Leading and developing a team of planners supporting the EC West projects including cost engineering, cost estimating, cost analysis/control and planning/scheduling activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Development of a detailed execution schedule(s) based on the scope of works. Development of comprehensive basis of schedule documents outlining schedule assumptions, construction sequencing, calendars, weather, resources, equipment, and critical path information
2. Monitor and update key dates and sequencing of the schedule.
3. Development and management of schedules deliverables, including but not limited to resource histograms, equipment histograms, procurement plans, quantity curves, and bedding forecasts.
4. Review planning and scheduling documentation and identify ambiguities, risks and key issues to be considered by the project execution team
5. Assist the Project Manager in compiling major project plans and execution schedules on behalf of the Project
6. Ensure that appropriate planning and scheduling techniques and systems are implemented to meet the projects needs
7. Work cooperatively with a team to accomplish project goals.
8. Ensure that all project, engineering and procurement planning and scheduling information is available to service construction needs.
9. Prepare planning/scheduling/cost control information into correspondence, forms, reports or databases; prepares information for dissemination to other.
10. Establishing client relationships, making group presentations and communicating effectively with site personnel

What you will bring:
14. Proven experience with resources related multi-discipline scopes and committed to a site-based role
15. Previous experience using Primavera (P6) project planning tool
16. Large-scale construction project experience
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
18. You acquire a methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work and meeting deadlines
19. Ability to contribute and influence continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing delivery methods for your project partners
20. Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
