How will I help?
Reporting to the Group Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), you will work with a small team to support the delivery of the Group’s DE&I Strategy. Some of the core activities that the DEI Manager will support include communications activities that underpin the successful delivery of the FY23-25 DE&I strategy, program management activities, and reporting activities including the collation of responses and evidence for external citations such as the Australia Workplace Equality Index and reporting to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency. Supported by the DE&I team, your core responsibilities will evolve over time in line with your personal career development opportunities. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Supporting DEI Senior Managers in the delivery of strategic DEI initiatives
Day-to-day management of flagship DEI programs, such as Illuminate, RISE, and Advance to ensure programs deliver to key outcomes (such as retention and career progression of participants), maintain an excellent stakeholder experience for all, and have robust communication strategies to amplify the profile of the programs and participants.
Development of communications plans and collateral to support DEI initiatives and delivery of communications campaigns and projects
Coordination of DEI events, in-person and virtual, including In Conversation series, program events, and workshops
Coordination of DEI supplier and partnership arrangements, including effective account management, contract execution and payments, supplier risk assessments, legal and privacy requirements

What do I need?
You will be eager to evolve your HR experience and exposure across the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) space. With the ability to demonstrate some experience with DE&I initiatives, you will bring strong program management experience and organisational skills to the role. A strong communicator, you will have a customer-first attitude and superior stakeholder management skills, including experience developing and delivering communications. Proficiency with PowerPoint and Word is a requirement. Previous Risk and Business Controls and Monitoring exposure would be advantageous. Most of all, the ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn and develop new skills!
