Operational Risk Manager

Our Risk function is made up of a strong team of professionals who protect Latitude by ensuring risks are well managed and enable the business to grow by making appropriate risk-informed decisions.
As our Operational Risk Manager, you will have a key role supporting the development, enhancement, implementation and monitoring of the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management Frameworks across Latitude. This will ensure we have a strong risk culture and practices.
Let's look at some key responsibilities:
You will work closely Line 1 to drive and mature effective risk management processes and accountabilities across Line 1 and 2. This is a highly visible role with direct engagement with senior executives.
2. Support the Line 2 Operational Risk team to be a highly engaged, effective and valued contributor to enable Latitude's strategy.
3. Help set and implement operational risk management priorities, including risk accountability and management maturity initiatives.
4. Rmend risk mitigation solutions and lead through change.
5. Develop risk reporting that provide clear, relevant and pragmatic opinions and insights on operational risk matters, including root causes, trends, mitigation/remediation.
6. Provide advice, oversight and challenge to Line 1 business stakeholders to support them manage their operational risks.
7. Facilitate the development and use of effective Key Risk Metrics and Indicators.
8. Assist to maintain of theernance Risk andpliance system.
Ideally, we're looking for the following:

9. 5+ years of operational or financial risk management experience in banking
10. Operational Risk subject matter expert with a practical and hands-on approach.
11. You are open to thinking differently and able to innovate to achieve effective risk management oues.
12. Influentialmunicator and confident when ites to presenting to senior stakeholders and Boardmittees.
13. Highly collaborative manner with stakeholders and can distilplex matters into clear and simple messages and actions.
14. Demonstrated track record of delivering strategic change initiatives to enhance risk management.
15. Strong and engaging leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate both Line 2 and Line 1 teams.
16. Solid understanding of core processes within a financial services organisation
