We’re on the hunt for a payroll whizz to join our Snackbrands Australia team in the role of Payroll Officer. Reporting to the Payroll Manager ANZ, this exciting role will be based between our Orchard Hills & Smithfield sites with hybrid working, working Monday – Friday 38 hours per week.

About the role:
The Payroll Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, high quality Payroll services. You will ensure employees are paid on time in accordance with their agreements and government regulations.
What you’ll be responsible for:
* Managing payroll related queries.
* Ensuring all payroll related payments and processes are compliant with internal policies, agreements (EBA’s, Awards, Employment contracts) and legislative requirements to enable financial strategic delivery.
* Providing reports to stakeholders and working with HR on legislative reporting.
* Ensuring payslips and tax summaries are accessible to all employees within a reasonable time.
* Accurately process all AU applicable payroll information and ensures accurate account reconciliations are carried out within required timeframes to the financial system.
* Employment Tax payments and filing is completed accurately and to schedule within agreed timeframes.
* Ensuring records meet audit standards and assist to carry out and meet audit requirements.
* Identifying and implementing continuous improvements initiatives, to ensure effective and efficiency delivery of payroll perimeters.
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Minimum 3+ years in end-to-end payroll – Extra tick if FMCG payroll experience.
* Experience using Pay Global payroll system will be highly advantageous.
* Sound Attention to detail, process driven, methodical, strong work ethic with can do attitude.
* Strong understanding of employment related legislation across AU.
* Strong report writing skills; ability to provide meaningful and accurate data.
