About the role We are looking for a Principal People Analytics Partner to be a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders, applying advanced statistical techniques and organizational psychology principles to solve complex workforce challenges. You will also play a key role in ensuring data consistency and quality, working closely with HR data owners to establish reliable data foundations for analytics and decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of people data, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable insights. Reporting to Senior Manager Data & Insights you will: Design employee research efforts incorporating organisational data, employee listening and external bodies of knowledge such as academic and consultant publications. Data Storytelling & Visualization: Translate complex analytics into clear, compelling narratives using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R visualizations Consult & Advise: Partner with HR, business leaders, and key stakeholders to understand People challenges and develop data-driven solutions. Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with stakeholders and supporting teams to identify, diagnose and solve critical problems with technical delivery, including short and long-term solutions to deliver sustainable outcomes. Education: train and educate stakeholders in the People Function on analytics tools and data driven decision making. Data Consistency & Quality: Ensure HR data is consistent, reliable, and well-defined for analytics and reporting through regular engagement with HR data owners to maintain clear data definitions, resolve discrepancies, and drive alignment Develop and promote data quality best practices, helping to improve the integrity of People analytics and Insights. Collaborate with IS&T, HR, and analytics teams to standardize data sources and ensure reliable reporting. Ethical AI & Workforce Strategy: Support the responsible use of AI in HR, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with ethical stand Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, research methodologies, and technological advancements in people analytics. Maintain and deliver excellence in knowledge management for analytics tools development by using collaboration tools and industry standard project documentation approaches. What you’ll bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team, Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, or a related field required. PhD strongly preferred. 5 years in People Analytics, Organizational Research, or HR Data Science roles. Strong expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modelling. Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis. Experience with HRIS, survey platforms, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Workday, Qualtrics, Power BI, Tableau). Experience conducting applied research in an organizational setting. Experience working with HR data owners to establish data definitions, improve quality, and ensure consistency. Passion for gaining insights from data. Excited by the opportunity to generate value through strong connections between business problems and deep technical expertise in data analytics. Demonstrated experience as a team player, with the ability to inspire and partner with others by influence. Able to bring together diverse, multi-disciplined teams to successfully deliver projects.
