Maydanoz is an Aegean Turkish coast-inspired restaurant paying homage to the region's vegetarian and zeytinyagli-style food. This 100-seat venue with a plant-predominant menu opened at Carrington Street by the award-winning Turkish Chef Somer Sivrioğlu in May 2022.
We are currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team in Sydney.
Duties and responsibilities include:
* Development of restaurant menus in consultation with the head chef and restaurant manager;
* Preparation and cooking of menu items
* Coaching and developing junior staff and management
* Manage company standards of quality, service, presentation and cleanliness throughout the back of house (kitchen)
To be considered you will need a Diploma Hospitality qualification and/or at least 2- 3 years of employment experience.
This is a full time position 38 hours per week, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $70,000 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
