Position: Visiting Medical Officer (VMO)Remuneration: As per VMO DeterminationHours Per Week: As per rosterRequisition ID: REQ545833Advertising Close: 17 March 2025What You'll Be DoingReporting to the Director of Surgery, the VMO in General Surgery will participate in the consultant on call roster, assist in the education role of the department, provide clinical care to patients as well as perform all types of general surgery for the Coffs Clinical Network.This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer. All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined under the General questions section at Occupational assessment screening and vaccination - FAQ.Salary will be in accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.
