We are looking for a talented Technical Consultant to join our team and help us deliver top-notch infrastructure for both internal and client-facing applications. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and maintain the infrastructure environment within your assigned technology domain. Install, configure, and support essential hardware and software for smooth operations. Collaborate with operations to keep systems up to date with the latest patches and antivirus updates. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related issues efficiently. Conduct regular performance monitoring, health checks, and capacity planning to optimize system performance. Identify and eliminate defects to ensure high-quality deliverables and reduce defect rates. Take ownership of tasks, manage scope and schedule changes effectively, and keep stakeholders informed. Document issues and solutions while proactively sharing knowledge with the team to enhance productivity. Follow change management procedures to ensure smooth transitions. Engage with team members, leadership, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Technical Requirements : Strong working knowledge of XML, XSLT Experience with SOAP and RESTful web services Working knowledge of HL7 or FHIR Experience managing and deploying solutions on MS Azure Familiar with XML based application configurations Some experience with communication protocols – TCP, HTTPS, TLS/SSL and more Familiar with navigating MS SQL server and running SQL queries General Requirements: Comfortable leading in person and virtual workshops in front of large audiences Ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic sequential approach Knowledge of processes, needs and requirements and how they are/would be best met with Allscripts products or new technology Customer focus (internally/externally) Capacity to anticipate customers’ needs and place customers at the center of own thinking and actions. Excellent communication and presentation skills internally with the team and externally with customers. Working Arrangements Standard work week or as defined by assignment requirements Primarily works in standard office environment or remotely May require after-hours, on-call support and/or holidays On-call and after hours work during peak times including end of month/quarter/year; during this time PTO is limited to meet business needs Up to 10% travel.
