This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2023
Instrumental Music School Services (IMSS) is seeking a highly motivated and organised Manager Corporate Services (MCS) to join their friendly team.
As the MCS, you should work closely with the Principal, Associate Principals, and administration team to manage the financial, physical, and human resource processes of the school. You should oversee school business operations and work with the leadership team to recruit, supervise and manage school support staff. The successful applicant should provide consistency for financial planning and budgeting within the school and ideally possess an excellent knowledge of Department Policies and Guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you should require excellent organisational skills and possess the ability to plan and prioritise tasks and work well under pressure as a member of a team. Experience in the application of Recruitment Advertising Management System (RAMS), Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRMIS), Oracle, RM Finance, purchase card processes, CUA (common use agreement), assets manager, fault reporting, Programmed FM, Capital works, Corporate Reporting, Music Instrument Loan System (MILS), Connect and Professional Learning Information System (PLIS) are highly desirable.
IMSS sits within State-wide Services suite of schools and has its own unique context. An ability to think creatively and flexibly would be advantageous in applying existing corporate knowledge in a new context.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements (selection criteria):
1. Leadership skills in the delivery of business outcomes and sound customer service principles and practices.
2. Well-developed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to use effective negotiation skills.
3. Sound financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
4. Sound human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and systems.
5. Ability to provide input into the development, implementation and monitoring of the business plan.
6. Sound conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
