About the role
The Executive Assistant and Project Officer provides administrative and management services to support the efficient and effective operation of the office and the optimal utilisation of the Executive Director’s (Chief Data Officer), CESE – Data and Insights time and resources.
·Provide confidential executive support to the Executive Director including preparation of routine correspondence, reports, presentations and other essential documentation
·Work closely with the Executive Director in prioritising and filtering information requests, drawing attention to urgent matters which require immediate attention and referring operational matters to other staff as appropriate to enable the most effective use of time available
·Undertake general administrative duties including diary and mailbox management, arranging stakeholder meetings and organising travel and accommodation to support the Executive Director.
·Research and support/or coordinate initiatives, projects and programs across the broader Division when required.
·Liaise with other support staff, including the Manager Office of CESE, to ensure that the general administrative services provided are consistent and high quality.
