Financial Reporting Manager - Professional Services - Immediate StartMy client is a well-known Professional Services company based here in Melbourne, they are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to lead their team due to steady organic growth.The Role:Understand and manage their P&Ls, including monthly analysis and reporting of actual head office costs against budget.Building annual Head Office budgets.Preparation of monthly statutory financial reporting for the Board as required.Preparation of quarter, half and year-end statutory accounts.Management of the statutory audit process.Assisting with documentation of accounting positions.Collaborating with the Tax Manager in the preparation of workpapers to enable completion of regulatory requirements.Skills & Attributes:Qualified CA or CPA.Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally in one of the Big 4 accounting firms with a professional services background.Familiarity with the preparation of General Purpose Financial Statements (including notes) and tax schedules.Familiarity with the documentation requirements of the audit process.Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to apply IFRS and accounting standards to solve complex accounting issues.Experience in use of accounting applications and ability to adapt to new systems.Strong Excel skills, experience with financial analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Previous use of Xero or MYOB would also be useful.
