Job Description We are seeking to engage with a proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our Project Leaders team and accelerate their career success through exposure to our clients across a wide range of industry sectors. Project Leaders is a service line of Colliers that provides expert, end-to-end development advisory and client-side project management services to a broad range of national and international clients. We leverage the strength and capability of the Colliers brand across all aspects of the property market. Our team are more than project managers – we lead, manage, and deliver comprehensive project management solutions across every stage of the property lifecycle. Project Leaders team is well known and respected for its mentoring culture. You will be working with over 60 experts, with a National Director as your mentor. You will receive regular training within the team, and we will provide valuable opportunities to enhance your skill set and learn from industry leaders. You will also be involved in the broader construction and property industry, through the participation with Colliers' key property industry events. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for: Assisting with the operational delivery of projects in line with client and contractual requirements; program and procedures; and all relevant legislation. Working with Project Managers & Senior Project Managers to provide superior team performance for clients in all aspects of project delivery including scope, time, cost and profitability, quality, human resources, communications, risk management, health, safety and environment and procurement. Contributing to the project process particularly in relation to methodology, tendering, processing of payments, consultant management and site activities. Assisting in the development and maintenance of superior client and key stakeholder relationships. Assisting in meetings and minuting meetings as required. Completing system documents and procedures to ensure that the business is not at risk of non-compliance with third party accreditations. Risk and Opportunities are tracked with the project team. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience within the industry. Ideally commenced or completed a degree or formal qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Design or Construction. End to end project oversight and delivery - including project planning, budget management, risk management, issue management, personnel management, client management, commercial issue management, testing management. An understanding of the real estate / property industry is desirable. Good communication skills both written and oral, ability to converse with all levels of staff. It is essential to be reasonably proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project.
