About the Role
The Field Sales Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving the growth of Assurant's distribution and sale of refurbished mobile devices. This includes identifying new sales opportunities, leveraging trade shows and exhibitions to enhance Assurant's brand, and networking with existing and potential resellers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular visits to partners and resellers to assess needs and provide ongoing support
* Develop and implement a strategic visitation plan to prioritize engagement with key partners and resellers
* Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to secure profitable deals while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and aligning with Assurant's value proposition
* Stay up-to-date with competitor product lines, pricing strategies, and distribution methods to inform Assurant's market positioning and strategy development
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field
* Minimum three years of experience in business development, field sales, relationship management, or a similar position
* Proven track record of achieving sales and growth targets, preferably in the technology or telecommunications space
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* Driven and self-motivated, results-oriented, and action-focused
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, prioritization, and work task management
* Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills for data analysis
* Financial and commercial literacy to manage budgets, analyze deal profitability, and provide insights to support sales performance
