Your Opportunity:
* The Business Practice Improvement Officer (BPIO) is a Nurse Manager (NM) who will assist the Emergency Departments (ED's) to examine the quality of data used to report ED performance and to develop and enact processes to improve data quality. Additionally, the BPIO-NM will participate in the implementation of performance improvement strategies related to process flow and developing evidence-informed nursing practice.
* The BPIO-NM is a managerial role, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within the Emergency Department. The BPIO-NM provides professional and operational leadership and direction to nursing staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Emergency Department. The BPIO-NM utilises data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety and efficiency and measures are in place to capture the standard of service delivery.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $82,106 p.a., comprising salary rates $66.86 - $72.59 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Part Time, 38 hours p.f.).
