Our ACT Government client are hiring for highly capable Senior Business Analysts to join the organisation.
The successful candidates will be mostly business facing, working on process improvement initiatives and producing business artefacts with technical analysis also being conducted across the ERP space.
This is an exciting chance to join a wider Business Analyst team that are working on a range of projects that aim to align governmental ICT and digital priorities across the ACT government.
This role has a preference for candidates located on-site in Canberra but is also open to the right interstate candidates.
Role: Senior Business Analyst Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 12 months duration.
Hourly Rate: Between $110 - $125 + Super per hour.
Location: Canberra (2912) (1 day per week onsite) is preferred.
Otherwise, out of state candidates will be considered.
Key Accountabilities: As a member in a multi-disciplinary team, lead analysis and modelling of current and future business processes and information management environments.
Define business problems and primary objectives of new projects.
Identify and validate key business requirements.
Analyse client requirements and collaborate with technical specialists and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop fit-for-purpose solutions to business problems.
Coordinate requirement walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with stakeholders that process models and user artefacts accurately represent business needs.
Contribute / lead work to develop estimates for human resourcing efforts / costs for business analysis activities, and discovery and design phases.
Work closely with other areas within the organisation to promote the value of great analysis and design in achieving positive business and community outcomes.
Identify and adopt relevant industry trends into the work of the section that enables innovative government service delivery that can be applied to provide better ACT Government outcomes.
Mandatory Criteria: Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience of business analysis.
Excellent analytical capabilities developing Business Requirements Specifications, Business Cases, Functional and Non-Functional Specifications.
Demonstrated ability and experience analysing and modelling data, business processes, user pathways and information flows.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including strong facilitation skills.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an agile development environment.
Experience working across various CRM's including Salesforce, ServiceNow or PowerApps is favourable.
Compliance Requirements: A National Police Check will be conducted.
Additionally, a Personal Vetting Program Certificate from the ACT Government will be conducted.
Either that or the ability to obtain/hold a Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory.
Candidates must be based in or around Canberra and willing to work on-site.
Additionally, you must possess Australian Citizenship for this role.
