Job Title: Workshop Technician
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Technician to join our team at Komatsu Australia. As a key member of our Pakenham branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to ensure equipment is maintained and repaired within company policies and guidelines.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and Repairs: Perform machine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs with a high level of technical understanding of Komatsu equipment design and function.
* Workmanship: Complete work to a professional standard and in a timely manner, ensuring all tasks meet the required quality standards.
* Customer Interaction: Liaise with customers as necessary, reporting on interactions and providing updates on repair progress.
* Documentation: Accurately complete timesheets, service reports, and relevant documentation in a timely manner.
* Inventory Management: Ensure unused parts are returned for credit promptly and store them securely.
* Tool Maintenance: Use and maintain company tools correctly.
* Adherence to Policies: Adhere to company work hours, overtime requirements, and dress code.
* Training and Development: Assist in training apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Roster and Location:
The role operates Monday to Friday and is based at our Pakenham location.
