About the Role: As a Direct Care Attendant (Community), you will provide essential services to clients who are aged, frail, or disabled, assisting them in maintaining independence and living in their own homes.
You will work closely with the coordinator and health professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring that each individual receives the care and support they need.
In this role, you will assist clients with daily activities, personal care, and ensure their comfort and safety, helping them live fulfilling lives in their chosen environment.
As a Direct Care Attendant (Residential), you will provide direct care services to residents of the Residential Care Home, working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and health professionals.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that delivers person-centred care to meet the needs of each resident.
Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily activities, providing personal care, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
You will collaborate with other team members to ensure that high-quality care is consistently delivered in the Residential Care Home environment.

What We're Looking For: WHA4 Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day to day execution of a position.
Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health related field.
Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
Experience in the use of computer packages eg.
Microsoft Word, Excel.
