Occupational Therapist - Choice of part or full time

Your exciting new role:
* Choose hours and days that suit you – part time or school hours (minimum 3 days) or full time
* Visit clients in the local Albany community
* Perform assessments in clients’ homes and workplaces with respect to physical, sensory, cognitive and psychological functional needs
* Plan, implement and evaluate person centred care plans and intervention programs in line with client’s goals
* Prescribe equipment and recommend modifications including the use of assisted technology
* Create holistic care plans, write detailed progress notes and seek and apply for funding
* Provide advice, education and training to clients and their families
* Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies to ensure holistic care
* Support, train and supervise OTAs, OT students and volunteers

About you:
* Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
* Able to conduct thorough assessments, create care plans, prescribe equipment and recommend home modifications
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients and families
* Vibrant, adaptable and have a passion for working with people with neurological conditions
* Knowledge of NDIS and other funding models is ideal but not essential
