About the role
WorkPac is seeking an experienced Welding Coordinator to join our client in the Gladstone region. Welding Coordinator Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and safety of our assets.
Asset Management Knowledge: Understanding of asset management principles and practices, including optimization, forecasting, lifecycle management, and risk mitigation.
Safety Management: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing adherence to safety procedures and regulations.
Problem-Solving: Capacity to address on-the-job issues promptly and efficiently.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication abilities to liaise with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
Planning and Organization: Skill in organizing maintenance schedules, allocating resources, and prioritizing tasks to meet operational requirements.
Quality Assurance: Dedication to maintaining high standards and quality in all maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and longevity of assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Pre-Shutdown Inspection & Condition report review (Thermo, CondMon etc)
* Review, assist with the development of, and approve Work Packs
* Review and update ABPs and provide Technical support
* Coach for effective Toolbox Meetings
* Provide a safe working environment and ensure compliance to policies and procedures
* Lead and embed Safety Interaction, CRM and PTHA processes with your team
* Accurate schedule, Scheduled compliance and time confirmations
* Ensure Work Packs are completed and updated for continuous development
* Complete Pre and Post Shutdown activities
* Complete closeout reports, ITPs, MDR, QA/QC checklist etc
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience within leadership, asset management knowledge, safety management, communication skills and planning and organization skills.
* Must have a current QA/QC Welding qualification
* 5+ years of experience in welding
* NDT Qualification's preferrable
