We are looking for a Senior ICT Operations Specialist to join our team and help drive operational excellence. About the Role In this role, you will manage the daily and specialised requirements of the Infrastructure Operations group, ensuring ongoing support, maintenance, and seamless operational functionality for clients, and stakeholders. You will play a critical role in supporting business areas operating in a round-the-clock telecommunications environment, ensuring effective, efficient, and prompt delivery of services. Key Responsibilities Oversee, monitor, and support all aspects of technical infrastructure, including servers (both virtual and physical), networks, and ICT security, providing 2nd and 3rd level support as required. Provide guidance and support to teammates to enhance service delivery, identifying dependencies, incidents, and areas for improvement. Prioritise team workflow and manage complex and escalated technical issues. Manage and monitor systems and infrastructure to ensure high performance and availability. Analyse data and statistics for business report development and provide recommendations for service delivery improvements. Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, managing vendor negotiations and service level agreements. Create and maintain technical documentation as required. Perform after-hours work as needed, including Server OS patching. About You To succeed in this role, you should possess strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills. Technical Skills & Experience Proven experience in supporting Microsoft Azure and O365 products. Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud (Deployment and Management). Microsoft Server Administration (MCSE certification is desirable). Practical knowledge of Microsoft SCCM/Intune and SharePoint. Understanding of LAN, DHCP, and DNS networks. ITIL Service Management experience. Familiarity with Modern Workplace best practices (technical). Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
