This role is central to delivering efficient, resilient, and impactful engineering solutions for Enterprise Business, partnering with B2B units to create lasting customer relationships through faster time-to-market solutions.
As a leader in engineering, you will oversee Cloud-native foundations, CI/CD tooling, and quality assurance testing to maintain high standards across all projects. By managing a passionate team of QA and Consultant Engineers, you will balance vendor and in-house delivery while fostering collaboration across engineering chapters, including Software and Design Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and implement advanced testing procedures, emphasizing automated testing (Auto Tests) for high-quality deliverables.
* Guide the test engineering team on methods, tools, and technologies, fostering collaboration with other engineering functions like Unit Test coverage.
* Optimise engineering for new platforms by ensuring robust Auto Test coverage, reducing ongoing Test Engineering reliance.
* Drive alignment and synergy between cross-functional teams to maintain/improve Auto Test coverage for modernized and legacy platforms.
* Oversee vendor engineering functions, ensuring adherence to KPIs, tools, and workforce alignment, with a strategy for co-development or insourcing when appropriate.
* Establish a high-performing engineering chapter aligned with organizational goals and best practices.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
* 7+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of delivering results through structured planning and execution.
* Expertise in software engineering practices (Java, Angular, Python, Cloud Engineering, CICD).
* Certifications in software engineering, project management, or Lean Six Sigma (preferred).
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing vendors and liaising with senior stakeholders.
* Experience as a Test Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager is preferred.
