The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to drive the adoption of Hello Clever’s instore payments and loyalty solutions across the retail and hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate has an extensive network of merchants, a proven track record in B2B sales, and the ability to identify, engage, and convert high-value business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development: Identify and secure new retail and hospitality clients, expanding Hello Clever’s merchant network.
* Sales Execution: Own the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for merchants.
* Relationship Management: Leverage existing industry connections to drive adoption and build long-term partnerships.
* Market Expansion: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Hello Clever’s footprint in the Australian payments and loyalty space.
* Industry Engagement: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the payments ecosystem.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, and customer success) to optimise the merchant experience and drive product enhancements.
About You
* Proven Sales Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the payments, fintech, retail technology, or hospitality sectors.
* Industry Network: A strong network of retail and hospitality merchants, with the ability to leverage relationships for sales success.
* Self-Starter Mentality: Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working autonomously to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Tech-Savvy: Understanding of real-time payments, POS integrations, and digital loyalty programs is a plus.
* Data-Driven Approach: Ability to use insights and analytics to drive sales decisions and merchant engagement strategies.
