About the Role
Based in Newcastle West, the role of the SDA Program Coordinator is to ensure ongoing improvement of programs, achievement of strategic objectives, performance, stakeholder engagement and management, monitoring and reporting systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Assist in the development and ongoing improvement of program, its strategic objectives, performance, monitoring and reporting systems.
* Oversee the delivery of vacancy management plan.
* The management of people, facilities, assets, equipment, and information to deliver appropriate outcomes under the program.
* Development of formal and informal networking and partnership arrangements with internal and external stakeholders that support and are supported by the program.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of NDIA, NDIS, and Specialist Disability Accommodation
* Innovative leadership, direction, and management of services in a safe working environment
* Review reports on accumulated accommodation payments and determine remedial actions
* Manage and raise finance Service Requests
* Attend Home in Place forums and other resident initiatives as required
* In conjunction with Resident Relations Coordinator conduct sign-ups/transition of residents
About you
* Experience in property/tenancy management and the end to end management of a property portfolio
* Financial management skills including managing budgets to ensure financial projections are met
* Working knowledge of disability, disability services and service providers
* Understanding of legislation including the Residential Tenancy Act and the NDIS
* Ability to produce high level reporting with statistical data and narrative reporting
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication to different audiences
* Focus on quality and continuous improvement
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite in particular WORD, Excel and Outlook coupled with strong grammatical and document
formatting skills
* Ability to work flexible hours to suit the needs of the service and the people we support
* Flexibility and mobility to undertake business travel as required to fulfil the requirements of the position
