Reliability and Maintenance System SuperRemuneration/Benefit – Attractive salary plus bonus opportunityAbout the role The purpose of this role is to provide leadership to the maintenance teams by optimising organisational productivity, driving process improvements, leading change management initiatives, and integrating strategies to build people capabilities that achieve the business strategy and business planYou will be responsible for: Champion a safety culture which promotes, creates and maintains a Zero Harm approach in all aspects of the operation.Provide leadership and coaching to Leaders to achieve customer expectations through a result driven, customer focused and commercial culture.Provide coaching, expert advice, and support to leaders to achieve performance objectives, promote high performance teams, support continuous improvement activities, develop potential successors and influence operational strategy.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and collaboration.Apply conceptual and analytical skills and utilise key performance indicators to optimise delivery of services on time and in full.Manage financial and operational budgets, resources, on time performance and safety.Ensure performance is measured and meets or exceeds business requirements.Ensure the allocated team has up to date training and competency.Build positive workplace relationships with all stakeholders.Take accountability and ownership in all aspects of your team. Ensure all activities delivered through the team are compliant with relevant industry and business standardAbout you: Extensive knowledge of operations, preferably rail industry.Knowledge of contemporary maintenance, supply chain and reliability processes.Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications commensurate with the role.Well-developed Safety management skills and knowledge including incident investigation, safety interactions, near miss reporting and behaviour based safety leadership.Effective operational management and leadership skills with a proven capability to develop and implement relevant systems to achieve relevant key performance indicators.Ability to effectively engage team members, establish and sustain relationships, set clear direction and provide coaching.Demonstrated customer relationship management skills.Demonstrated commercial acumenWhat we offer you: At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
