Internship: Fluid Systems

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. Interns work directly with our experienced engineers in support of our business units. This internship will last 15 weeks.
Fluid Systems – Projects may involve many aspects of applied fluid / mechanical engineering including design, analysis and test of fluid components and systems, propulsion systems and mechanical systems.
Required Qualifications:
1. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
2. Currently enrolled in a graduateprogram and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
3. Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
4. Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Passion for space.
Desired: If you have any experience with the following, please be sure to include it on your resume.
6. Experience with MATLAB or Simulink.
7. Experience with programming languages including Python, C/C++.
8. Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills relevant to the internship as well as leadership qualities.
9. Hands-on project experience.
10. Co-curricular engagement.
