Our values underpin everything we do at the Club, and we strive to embed these values into our everyday actions, fostering a winning attitude and a deeper connection with the greater community.PATHWAYS SPORT SCIENCE AND NUTRITIONWorking closely within our High-Performance Department the successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties in support of the Sport Science and Nutritional programs of the Pathways Programs.SPORT SCIENCE RESPONSIBILITIES:The Assistant will report to the High-Performance Manager (HPM) and Lead Sport Scientist and be tasked with the following areas:Lead NRLW and NSW Cup Sport Science Data Collection and Analysis:Overseeing data collection and analysis for NRLW and NSW Cup, ensuring alignment with overall club strategies and enhancing the cohesiveness of data-driven decision-making across teams.Lead Junior Representatives' Sport Science Requirements:Supporting junior teams, ensuring Sport Science consistency across all levels, and applying the practices refined at the NRL level to all teams.Generate Tailored Reports:Compiling detailed reports and data summaries as directed by the Lead Sport Scientist to support decision-making and enhance player performance analysis.Support NRL Sport Science Preparation:As directed by The HPM and Lead Sport Scientist, support NRL sport science preparation to support growth and development in pathways practices.NUTRITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:The Assistant will report directly to the High-Performance Manager and work closely with the club dietician to ensure effective delivery of the nutritional program.Coordinate Nutritional Education:Delivery targeted Nutritional education to pathways players and teams in alignment with the Club nutritional strategy set by the HPM and Club Dietician.Lead Body Composition Monitoring and Reporting:Use InBody technology and skinfolds to track progress, aligning with player goals and objectives set by the HPM of identified individuals and teams across the Pathways Programs.Maintain Nutrition Records:Keeping detailed records of all nutrition interventions and supplement use, tracking and reporting measurable outcomes as requested by the HPM and key stakeholders.The ideal candidate will possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Nutrition and/or Sport Science. You will also have highly developed communication (written, verbal, and listening) and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail. You must be able to work within a close-knit team and build relationships at all levels to achieve the Club's common goals.
