What we are looking for:
Gympie Regional Council is seeking a suitably experience person for 6 weeks approx. fixed term position to provide administrative support to update Gympie Regional Council’s Emergency Evacuation Diagrams.
Essential Knowledge & Skills:
4. Sound experience in general administration preferably with templates for emergency evacuation diagrams.
5. Demonstrated comprehensive computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat systems.
6. Well-developed oral and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with the community, stakeholders and staff
7. Queensland ‘C’ Class driver’s licence or above that is current and maintained.
Essential Requirements:
8. Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to consult, communicate and problem solve effectively in a multidisciplinary environment within set guidelines.
9. Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat applications and the ability to produce high quality documents with attention to detail.
10. Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures including time management, planning and organisational skills to maintain deadlines.
11. Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team in a professional and positive manner with the ability to be tactful and discrete when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature.
