The successful applicant will oversee large-scale contracts with passenger transport service providers, manage contract managers, and assist the Director (Passenger Transport Contracts) in ensuring all parties' obligations are met. Additionally, the role involves assisting in policy and strategy development, leading the management of the contract portfolio, and handling contract development, negotiation, modification, and performance monitoring.Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include:Actively manage, build, and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Lead the development and review of contract documents and endorse clear and concise contractual documentation for more complex, medium to high-risk contracts.Determine and allocate required resources for the management of key contracts within the team.Manage and provide advice on key risks including the development and management of action plans to manage the risk at a contract level for large complex contracts.Engage in successful negotiations and lead multi-discipline negotiation teams in complex negotiations, consulting and engaging with legal, financial, and other parties as required.Monitor and manage compliance with Government policy over a wide range of issues including signatory authority and delegation levels, financial risk analysis of suppliers before/during the contract, and financial conflicts of interest.Manage, review, and prepare professional, well-structured, and concise procurement documentation using appropriate language and relevant information.Lead by example by modelling ethical decision-making processes and abiding by government probity requirements.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
