This opportunity offers a full-time role accompanied by paid external supervision support, ensuring that you receive the guidance and resources necessary to excel in your position.
As our leader for the region, this role is responsible for the delivery and risk management of our counselling and residential care services, supporting and maintaining a therapeutic care environment and assisting the young people we support to grow and develop life skills and their potential.
Carinity – Wahroonga (Rockhampton)Wahroonga provides therapeutic trauma-informed services and support for young people (up to 17 years old) who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, and domestic and family violence.Therapeutic services are also available for protective caregivers, siblings, and/or anyone working with a child or young person who has been through these experiences.Carinity – On Track (Yeppon)On Track provides accommodation and support to four young people (aged 12-17) in an out-of-home residential care environment.Ideal candidates for the role will have: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioural Sciences.Experience in working with young people, carers, and families, especially in the areas of child protection, residential care, domestic and family violence, and/or child and adolescent mental health.Knowledge of various therapeutic interventions suitable for use with children, young people, and families.Sound knowledge of child protection issues and the Child Protection Act.How do I apply?
