Tribunal Case Officer (ASO3)
Position : Full-Time, 8-Week Casual Assignment
Location : Adelaide
The primary purpose of the Tribunal Case Officer role is to manage complex applications to the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT), from lodgement until completion. The role of Tribunal Case Officer is customer facing. The Tribunal Case Officer provides a high level of quality support services that contributes to the effective operations of SACAT.
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Tribunal Case Officer to assist with case management and support applicants in a busy tribunal environment.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Assist applicants with online applications and provide timely support via phone, email, and in-person.
2. Manage cases from lodgement to completion, ensuring compliance with legislation and SACAT processes.
3. Quality-check applications and coordinate hearing logistics.
4. Draft correspondence, maintain case files, and provide administrative support as needed.
Key Skills & Experience :
1. Experience interpreting and applying legislation and policy.
2. Strong report writing skills and familiarity with case management systems.
3. Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
4. Desirable: Typing speed of 60+ wpm, knowledge of SACAT operations, and relevant qualifications in law.
Ideally the successful applicants will have front-facing customer service experience with exceptional computer literacy and professional phone manner.
