This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Rural General Practitioner to build a successful practice as a GP VMO in Scottsdale, only 1 hour from Launceston. Our well-equipped, purpose-built facility boasts five consulting rooms, a three-bay treatment room, a procedure room and on-site pathology. Operating hours are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, with a Saturday clinic from 9am-11am but of course, this can be flexible to your needs. Ochre Health Medical Centre Scottsdale has a formal contract with the Tasmanian Health Service to provide VMO services 365 days per year across ATS CAT 1-5. The Scottsdale Hospital has 19 acute care beds, an Outpatient and Emergency Service, low-risk maternity, physiotherapy, radiology and visiting services. Whilst you are the driver of your own schedule, sessions and days, GP VMOs are encouraged to take advantage of two income streams- general practice and VMO at the Scottsdale hospital, making this a fantastic opportunity.
