About the role:
Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Category Manager to join their dynamic team, where you'll have the opportunity to shape sourcing strategies that enhance business impact and cost efficiencies across the organisation.
The role will be part of a high performing procurement team and function, driving value, strategic category management and innovation across the corporate services category.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement category strategies for corporate services, aligning with business goals and objectives.
Lead end-to-end category management processes, including market analysis, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
Build and manage strong supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and mitigate risks.
Monitor category performance, continuously seeking improvements and driving innovations.
About you:
We are seeking candidates with the following experience:
Proven experience in category management or procurement within corporate services or wider indirects.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
