The Opportunity Our Industrial group of technical engineering and project management specialists have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to delivering innovation, solution excellence and successful project outcomes for our clients globally.
As a result, we are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to partner with our key clients in the delivery of their sustaining capital works programmes.
This position will be based out of Brisbane located on our client sites and in our Brisbane office.
About You This position would suit a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in delivering capital projects within the manufacturing, minerals or metals industries.
You will be highly organised with outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes for the business and our clients.
We also expect that you will be able to: Provide Project Engineering and Project Management support to deliver key projects with an emphasis on offering innovative solutions, with an emphasis on quality, safety, schedule, service and value for money resultsBuild strong customer relationships, and demonstrate your ability to understand our client's core business and ensure that services meet their expectationsDemonstrate your ability and passion for providing technical advice and project management capabilities while embracing a culture that values teamworkWork effectively in a team environment to deliver multi-disciplinary design from early phase scope definition to detailed designProvide implementation phase support, including contractor supervision, progress monitoring, schedule reviews, contract management, minor procurement assistance, and expeditingFlexibility to travel to work onsite alongside clients to deliver projects – previous site experience and consulting experience will be well-regarded A career with Beca will provide you with: Flexibility & Wellbeing: We recognise that achieving a work-life balance is unique to everyone.
