About the position We are seeking a full time (or hours by negotiation) Regional Clinical Services Manager to lead the clinical team at our North West Precinct based in Burnie. We require a dynamic individual that prioritizes effective communication, collaboration within teams, and embraces the concept of decentralized precinct leadership.You will have previous managerial roles within Aged Care or other health organisation.A solid understanding and experience of the Aged Care Quality Standards would be ideal, but not essential. More about the role: As Regional Clinical Services Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Clinical Officer and be a major contributor to OneCare's Leadership Team.The accountabilities of the role include but are not limited to: The ongoing application of the quality management system and clinical governance framework, to ensure high quality service delivery outcomes for our customers/clients. Support and manage the regional clinical and quality process under the precinct design, whilst establishing and fostering relationships with staff to ensure quality is embedded within clinical practice. Oversite and coordination of all organisational programs and activities that directly relate to the clinical area across aged care, home care and NDIS (i.e.Electronic medication management, nurse call, care planning and assessment, AutumnCare, complex care, MAC meetings etc). Maintaining compliance with Accreditation standards (Aged Care and NDIS), industry code of practice and general expectations. Identifying and managing risks to our compliance obligations and managing the safety of our residents/clients and the community Actively building and maintaining networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders to growth our services and support to the community. The Regional Clinical Services Manager will work closely and collaboratively with the Regional Operational Services Manager.Together, these two roles lead the precinct. What you bring to the role: Tertiary qualifications in nursing and a current Australian AHPRA Registration Demonstrated experience as a clinical leader and management skills, including goal setting, decision making and people management skills. Highly developed communication, representation, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Highly developed written communication skills including the ability to write reports and produce timely, clear and unambiguous written communication. Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, educate, and provide appropriate performance management of the clinical team. Demonstrated IT knowledge including experience with clinical record systems and all Microsoft office applications. Demonstrated financial acumen including understanding financial principles, analyse and interpret data and making informed budgetary decisions.
