Boral Asphalt now has a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Resource Allocator to join our friendly team.
This role will be responsible for Boral Asphalt's Northern region and can be based from either our Coffs Harbour, Carrington, or Newcastle sites.
As Resource Allocator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient resource allocation, scheduling, and coordination for daily, weekly, and monthly operations.
This role will see you managing various tasks relating to personnel, equipment, and project requirements requiring you to exhibit strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Your day will involve: Effectively planning and coordinating works to ensure time and budgetary objectives are achievedCollaboration with internal team members, locally and regionally, and external customers to ensure effective allocation of resourcesReview and optimise labour utilisation, plant and equipment maintenance and availabilityCoordination and management of subcontractorsCoordination of business trainingPurchasing, payroll, job costing, and other admin duties as requiredHSEQ support for the businessWhat are we looking for? Experience in a senior Administration, Scheduling, or Coordination (or similar) role within a similar industryPurchasing, payroll, and job costing experience will be highly regardedAbility to establish strong working relationships with our contractors, clients, and our team membersHeavy Vehicle and Chain of Responsibility knowledge WAHVA (desirable)Excellent communication and practical project management skillsExperience in Microsoft Office suite, particularly ExcelHighly developed computer skills and the ability to learn new systemsWhat's on offer?
