We are seeking a versatile and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk with the added responsibility of serving as a backup for reception duties. Their main role is to ensure that all accounts with clients and suppliers are up to date, paid and received. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong financial acumen, and have the ability to seamlessly transition between accounting and front-desk responsibilities. Responsibilities & Duties:Accounts PayableEnter new suppliers in system, match receipts & investigate discrepanciesReconcile credit card statements promptly and accuratelyIssue cheques and wire transfers, obtain signatures and mail the chequesEnsure timely and accurate payments to vendorsAccounts ReceivablePerform collection calls for outstanding invoices & investigate discrepanciesProcess credit card orders and invoice the sundry items to Medisca GroupVerify orders in suspense, verify customer’s credit & release orderCollaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries related to billing.Reception BackupGreet, sign in and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.Manage communication channels, including answering phones, emails, and inquiries.Process incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages.Open/close the reception area at the beginning and end of dayAssist and ensure proper set up for meetings, trainings and town halls: provide coffee/tea stations, snacks and catering when requiredProvide general administrative support as neededQualifications:Vocational diploma or DEC in AccountingOne (1) to three (3) years of related experiencePrevious experience in reception or customer service is a plusKnowledge of Syspro an assetKnowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Word, Outlook and Excel) requiredExcellent communication skills; fluent French and English (oral & written) required.
