About the Role:
The Systems & Inventory Specialist is responsible for leading and managing the inventory function within the Broadmeadows Distribution Centre, along with managing the key warehouse systems and processes. The individual will work closely with leaders in the site as well as network contacts to provide accurate and genuine customer service.
The role will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, and integrity within the site, along with managing and maintaining the site warehouse management systems. The position requires a high level of communication skills, leadership skills and personal drive to deliver on our SLAs and provide great customer service.
This role is an Afternoon Shift position; Roster 14:00 to 22:00.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure effective stock management, cycle counting, and replenishment processes are undertaken Ensure inventory adjustments are undertaken through a documented process Ensure timely investigations of pick errors and shortages Ensure damaged stock is documented and disposed of appropriately Systems & Reporting:
Manage and maintain warehouse management system Prepare and deliver regular reports to management Provide input into, and meet targets for KPI reporting About you:
This role would suit candidates who enjoy being highly visible, have proven experience living company values and leading by personal example. You would also be able to showcase your ability to be adaptable and share the GPC vision of creating Genuine Service moments as part of your role.
To set yourself up for success in this role, you will ideally be able to demonstrate within your application your:
Licence to operate applicable MHE Relevant Supply Chain / Warehousing qualifications Experience managing and maintaining warehouse management systems (desirable) Experience managing an inventory function within a warehouse Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Great attention to detail Ability to identify problems and provide recommendations for solutions As with most roles of this nature, strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail will be required. A relevant qualification within Supply Chain / Warehousing would also be beneficial.
