We provide care for all aspects of patients requiring renal replacement therapy in an outpatient environment in the community.The Role:Seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Renal Services to work in partnership with Consultant Nephrologists, Nurse Unit Manager, Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Nurses and the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality nursing service and patient management in a satellite Renal Unit.Responsibilities include:Provision of clinical leadership and authoritative expertise in clinical care and interventions.Knowledge and guidance for individual case management across renal replacement therapies including Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Transplantation.Act as a role model and expert clinician in the clinical setting in accordance with best practice.Provide clinical leadership and coordination in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager for haemodialysis and home therapy nurses.Opportunity to work collaboratively with the entire renal team including Nurses, Consultants, Social Work, and Allied Health.Details of Appointment:Permanent full-time day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as we can onboard you.Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.Benefits available to eligible candidates:Payment of $15,000 staged over three years for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate.Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for overseas appointees.Professional development and accelerated pathways.A range of leave entitlements, including study leave and Professional Development Support.Fitness Passport – access to 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person.Minimum Requirements:Applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.For more information:Contact the designated person for detailed information about the vacancy.
