That’s the #powerofexperience.About the roleWe are seeking an exceptional Staff Data Scientist to lead the development of advanced AI/ML solutions for mega construction projects. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to drive innovation in construction intelligence.As Staff Data Scientist, you will shape and implement AI/ML capabilities for decision intelligence in construction megaprojects.Key responsibilitiesPerform exploratory data analysis on proprietary data sets, and generate necessary features for application in risk identification, risk assessment, scheduling options, etc.Design and implement advanced ML models and LLM applications for various business needs including risk identification / assessment / mitigation / prediction, schedule optimization, etc.Develop innovative approaches to combine traditional ML techniques with LLM capabilities for enhanced decision intelligence.Lead the implementation of AI-powered solutions that integrate outputs from models with 3rd party systems (e.g., AI schedule optimisation).Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities for AI/ML applications.Establish best practices for model development, deployment, and monitoring in a construction context.About youMaster's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field.Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying large-scale ML systems.Experience in construction, engineering, or related industrial sectors.Strong experience in exploratory data analysis (e.g., time series analysis and forecasting).Track record of building production-grade ML pipelines and monitoring systems.Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search technologies.Strong experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, responsible AI practices, and implementation and optimisation.BenefitsWe work hard to create an environment that brings out the best in our people.
