We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst - Salvos Stores for a 12-month max term contract, full time to join our team in Blackburn (Melbourne). Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our financial processes and driving improvements within a transactional setting. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis and process optimization to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities include: Support the Senior Manager in providing data and proactive commercial advice to business units and business support groups within Salvos Stores.Create predictive analytics and develop data-driven solutions aligned with Salvos Stores' strategy.Conduct post-implementation reviews of Salvos Stores initiatives and present findings to stakeholders.Identify and implement operational improvements within Salvos Stores Finance function.Contribute significantly to the annual budget and Long-Range Plan process, including data gathering, analysis, and input evaluation from business units.Build strong professional relationships across Salvos Stores to enhance the finance team's value and support the leadership group.About YouThe ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a financial accounting and analysis role at an operational level.Key capabilities include: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Economics. CPA/CA (or progress towards) is desirable.Proficient in advanced spreadsheet techniques, Power BI, and familiar with SQL.Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis tools.Ability to integrate, analyze, and correlate data from various sources for comprehensive insights.Extensive experience collaborating with senior management, showcasing effective communication skills.Why Work for Us?TSA offers an inclusive work culture and strong opportunities for career development.
