Full time Hays are proud to partner with ACEN Australia in their search for a Finance Manager to join their Tasmanian team on a permanent full-time basis. ACEN Australia is focused on reducing emissions and accelerating Australia's transition to a renewable energy future. They are currently working on several solar, wind, battery, pumped hydro and energy storage projects across New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia in development and construction. Your new role Due to continual growth and an internal promotion, this newly created role is reporting into the Senior Finance Manager and will operate with a high level of autonomy. You'll be based in the Australian head office in Salamanca and be employed on a permanent full-time basis. In addition to leading a team, this role will be critical to ensure the oversight of financial reporting and accounting operations for the Australian entity. Other work will also include: Management of external audits and reviews Oversight of preparation of financial statements and compliance with accounting standards Leading a team of Qualified Accountants Training, mentoring, and developing a team Support continuous business process and systems improvements What you'll need to succeed As the ideal candidate, you'll have a demonstrated background within a similar role within a large-scale organisation. CA/CPA qualified, you'll have excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and be a passionate people leader who enjoys mentoring staff. You'll also possess strong IT abilities, have clear and concise communication skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting internal stakeholder relationships. You'll also hold a driver's licence and be prepared to undergo a national police check.
