About the Opportunity Overview
Civeo Australia is seeking highly experienced FIFO Sous Chefs who can effectively liaise between the Head Chef and Line Chefs, possessing significant leadership experience.
As a key member of our culinary team, you will bring your creativity and passion to deliver exceptional food to our Villages across Western Australia.
The primary focus of this role is to ensure a smooth and profitable kitchen operation for the village. This is a fly-in-fly-out position departing from Perth on a 2:1 roster basis.

About You
* 3+ years' cumulative chef experience, working in a remote village environment (FIFO or DIDO)
* 2+ years' experience supervising and managing a team of chefs to deliver a smooth service
* Strong experience in a bulk/batch cooking environment, including ordering, profit, and wastage reporting
* Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade certificate
* Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in a bulk cooking environment
* Able to help create service schedules on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
* Applied knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance requirements
* Able to work nightshift where required
* Strong leadership experience and understanding of working between Head Chefs and Line Chefs
* Intermediate skills with regards to Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledge of relevant kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage
* Valid Manual Driver's Licence (Class C)
